MEET LOIS' SON, WILLIAM

WILLIAM CONLEY (Will) was born October, 28, 1979, and is 28 years old. He is Lois' oldest son, the quiet, "serious one". Will wasn't your typical little boy. While all the other little boys were outside playing, Will was either in his room doing 1,000 piece jig-saw puzzles or reading the encyclopedia! He always had his nose in a book! In high school, Will ran on the track team, was founder of his school's Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and was captain of the high school "A" (academic) team. Even though he transferred his junior year, Will graduated from Lake Gibson High School in Lakeland, FL, top of his class. He went on to Palm Beach Atlantic College on a full academic scholarship and in 2002, graduated with high honors with a BA degree. After college and working as a youth pastor for a year in Orlando, he earned a Masters in Divinity from the New Orleans Baptist theological Seminary in 2004. Today, Will is a writer for Student Life Bible Study and has been published several times, including in the Baptist Witness and with LifeWay, Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention, the world's largest publisher of religious material. Since his mom bought him a guitar and had him take lessons, he has been playing guitar. Though he usually just plays at church, he was in a band called "Plan B" in high school and then the chapel praise team at college.
At the age of 2-3, Will (or Bill, as he was known then) was his mom's "Montessori guinea pig" (to the extreme) during her Montessori teacher internship. This explains why he is so clean, orderly, and organized. Mom says: "I'm afraid I messed him up! I pity his future wife! No, really, he's a great cook, can clean, do laundry... he would make a good husband one day!" Seriously, Will is a strong leader, great speaker and writer, and TERRIFIC SON!
Will's favorite food: chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream
Will's favorite restaurant: Chevy's (Tex Mex).
Will's favorite things to do: working with youth, writing, running, traveling.
Will's favorite websites: LarkNews.com, Homestar Runner, worth1000.com

Will's favorite Movies: Napolean Dynamite and Star Trek: First Contact
Will's life verse: Romans 12:2
"Do not conform any longer to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing, and perfect will."
Will formerly lived in Europe during his two study abroad semesters in London, attended a class at Oxford, and toured Ireland, France, Germany. He has visited a dozen countries and is planning a tour through Israel in May, 2006. Will's goal is to visit every continent.
Bill has applied for and has been accepted to a position of Youth Pastor at a Baptist Church in NEW ZEALAND and is currently awaiting for his visa.
UPDATE: Bill is now a youth Pastor at Otorohanga Baptist Church in Otorohanga, Waikato, New Zealand!
